About six hours, photoshop CS3. Reference used.

The reference used here had epic lighting because Cas was busy standing in a ring of holy fire at the time

I'm happy with this

I've never done such dramatic lighting before and it was good fun. Also, learning how to paint shirts and trenchcoats was fun.

Fun painting was fun and I really enjoyed it :3

I wanted to try a study on upshot lighting involving fire (there's actually fire beneath him in the picture I worked from). It's a great exercise for getting involved with light
