Anyway, back to Sammy here. It took me three weeks to deliver this piece, but again, I like to paint in two hour bursts about three times a week so I guess it took me around 6/7 hours give or take.
I had planned to smear Sam's t-shirt with blood too, but I found that putting the amount of blood it actually unbalanced the picture to have so much on his face and his t-shirt.. so I chose! : D
I know it seems ridiculous that Sam is such a messy eater face wise and didn't manage to get any on his t-shirt, but I liked the idea
I hope everybody reads this artist comment before pointing that out, laaaaaaaawl.
I almost fought with myself about using the pink background, but then I liked the idea of using the colour pink to compliment a possessed Sammy. Thought it was kinda funny/neato!
I've never painted blood before. It was fun, but I totally cheated by using custom blood splatter brushes made by
They took a bit of getting used to but once I copped that using them as erasers as well as brushes lent a better look, I was getting somewhere!
This was really theraptuic!!! Demon Sam has some awesome mellowing affect on me XD
